Betmaze Casino Review 2026: Fair Bonus, Email-Only Support

#AD · BonusBobcat earns a commission if you sign up through some links on this page. It never changes the score: the method is published here. 18+ only. BeGambleAware.org

Betmaze Casino is a reasonable pick for a slots player who does not mind email-only support, and I rate it 3.5/5. The one thing to know is that the UK site is now a ProgressPlay white label, not the Aspire Global site that older reviews describe, so the bonus terms you may see quoted elsewhere no longer apply.

The UK site, betmaze.co.uk, sits on ProgressPlay Limited’s UKGC licence alongside SlotSite and other brands in the same network. The old betmaze.com domain is listed as inactive on the register. ProgressPlay was fined £1,000,000 by the Gambling Commission in May 2025.

I checked these terms on the casino’s own promotions page (source, 26 October 2026).

New players get a 100% match up to £50 plus 20 free spins on Book of Dead with their first deposit. Your real balance is used first, the bonus must be wagered 10x within 30 days, and spin winnings 10x within 7 days. The most you can convert is £50 from the bonus and £20 from the spins, so the realistic ceiling is £70 on top of your own money. Skrill and Neteller deposits do not qualify, withdrawing voids any active bonus, and the offer is limited to 5 brands in the network. It suits someone depositing around £50 who wants a bit more play, not anyone expecting a large win. My guide to how UK casino bonuses work covers conversion caps in more detail.

Is Betmaze safe? Licence and regulatory record

Domain betmaze.co.uk
Operator ProgressPlay Limited
UKGC account 39335 (public register)
Licence status Active (checked 26 October 2026)
Shares a licence with the ProgressPlay white-label network
Regulatory action 9 May 2025: £1,000,000 financial penalty, a formal warning and an extra licence condition requiring an independent audit for anti-money-laundering and customer-interaction (safer gambling) failings (UKGC notice)
Regulatory action 17 May 2022: £175,718 regulatory settlement plus costs for anti-money-laundering and customer-interaction failings (UKGC notice)

Correction: Older sources name Aspire Global; the UKGC register lists betmaze.co.uk under ProgressPlay, and the old Aspire domain (betmaze.com) as inactive.

A UKGC licence means Betmaze must verify your age and identity, hold player funds under its stated protection level, offer deposit limits and time-outs, and take part in GamStop. If a dispute isn’t resolved by the casino, you can take it to the independent ADR provider named in its terms. More on what the licence covers in What is the UKGC?

What other review sites and players say about Betmaze

Source Rating What it shows
AskGamblers No page found
Casino.guru Safety Index 5.9/10 No complaints against Betmaze itself; points deducted for a complaint at a related casino
LCB Member rating 3.0/5 Page covers the old betmaze.com site, marked closed in January 2026, so not counted
Casinomeister No review No Casinomeister review or rating for this casino (site search, 26 October 2026)
Trustpilot No profile found No Trustpilot page for betmaze.co.uk turned up

All figures checked on 26 October 2026. Ratings on these sites change; follow the links for the current numbers. Trustpilot and LCB ratings with fewer than 10 reviews or votes, or for a different domain, are shown but not counted in my score.

There is very little third-party coverage of Betmaze. I found no Trustpilot profile for betmaze.co.uk and no AskGamblers page. Casino.guru gives it a Safety Index of 5.9/10, which it calls below average. There are no complaints against Betmaze itself; the points come off because of a complaint at a related casino in the same network, and Casino.guru also rates the terms as unfair. LCB shows a member rating of 3.0/5, but its page covers the old betmaze.com site, which it marks as closed since January 2026, not the UK site I am reviewing, so I have not counted it. Casinomeister has not reviewed Betmaze: its site search on 26 October 2026 returned no review page, so there is no Casinomeister rating or accreditation to report. With so little player feedback there are no recurring complaint themes to report, which is not the same thing as a clean record.

The UKGC record belongs to ProgressPlay. Its licence is active, but in May 2025 it received a £1,000,000 penalty, a formal warning and an extra licence condition requiring an independent audit, for anti-money-laundering and safer gambling failings. That came after a £175,718 settlement in May 2022 for similar problems. The repeat is the main reason Betmaze does not score higher.

Betmaze games, live casino and sportsbook

When I tested Betmaze the lobby had 2,000+ games from NetEnt, Microgaming, Pragmatic Play and Evolution. The site has since moved onto ProgressPlay’s platform, so check the current line-up, but this is what I found.

Slots are the main draw. Standouts included Immortal Romance, Legends of Olympus, the Gilded Mines series and Pragmatic Play’s range, including Dog House Megaways, Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza Xmas. Microgaming’s progressive jackpots, Mega Moolah among them, were there too. RNG table games were more limited.

The live casino was powered by Evolution, with Lightning Roulette, Infinite Blackjack, Dream Catcher and several blackjack tables across a range of stake levels. Stream quality was as good as any UK site I have used.

There is also a sportsbook covering football, horse racing, tennis, basketball and other major sports, all on the same account. Moving between casino and sports was straightforward. Price-check the odds against your usual bookmaker, but if you do both, one login and one cashier is handy.

Betmaze payments and withdrawals

Betmaze listed a wide range of payment methods when I tested it: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, MuchBetter, Trustly, Paysafecard, AstroPay, Apple Pay and Jeton. Remember that Skrill and Neteller deposits do not qualify for the welcome offer.

Withdrawals were on the slow side. Every request sat in a 48-hour pending period before processing began, then took:

  • E-wallets (Skrill, Neteller, PayPal): 2 to 4 business days
  • Debit cards: up to 6 business days
  • Bank transfer and Trustly: 2 to 6 business days

The minimum withdrawal was £10 and there was a £7,000 monthly withdrawal cap, which matters if you ever land a bigger win. Credit cards are not accepted under UKGC rules. As the platform has changed, these limits and timings may have moved, so check the cashier before you deposit. My UK casino payment methods guide compares typical speeds by method.

Betmaze on mobile

Registration at Betmaze took me around four minutes, and the sign-up form was clean and straightforward. The cashier was easy to use and navigation was simple.

There is no native iOS or Android app, but the site works in a mobile browser on both. Slots, live casino and the sportsbook all loaded and ran smoothly in my testing on a 4G connection, and live stream quality held up. Menus are touch-friendly and the cashier works well on a small screen, so deposits and withdrawals are no harder on a phone than on a laptop.

If you mainly play on your phone, there is nothing here that should put you off. Just bear in mind that customer support is by email only, which is a bit more awkward on a phone than a live chat window would be, and that the 48-hour pending period on withdrawals applies whatever device you use.

Betmaze customer support and loyalty

Support at Betmaze was email only when I tested it, with no live chat and no phone line. That is the biggest operational gap on the site. Replies during business hours were reasonable, a few hours each, but a back-and-forth to sort out a query could stretch over a full day. Most UKGC sites now offer live chat, so if fast answers on withdrawals or account checks matter to you, factor this in.

The loyalty programme had 7 tiers, with points earned at 1 per £40 wagered, which is a slow rate. Higher tiers unlock faster withdrawals, cashback and personalised offers, and the top two, Premium and Prestige, are invitation-only. Casual players will move through it slowly, and it is not a reason to play more.

As a UKGC-licensed site, Betmaze offers deposit limits, loss limits, session time limits, reality checks and self-exclusion, and it is part of GAMSTOP. My GAMSTOP guide explains how the scheme works.

How I scored Betmaze

Factor Weight Score /5 How it is worked out
Licence and regulatory record 30% 3.0 5 for a clean UKGC record, 1 point off per enforcement action in the last five years
Third-party ratings 30% 3.0 Average of AskGamblers CasinoRank, Casino.guru Safety Index, Casinomeister rating, LCB member rating and Trustpilot TrustScore, all converted to /5 (LCB and Trustpilot only with 10+ votes on the licensed site)
Complaint handling 20% 5.0 5 with no unresolved complaints on AskGamblers, Casino.guru, LCB or Casinomeister, falling as unresolved complaints rise
Bonus fairness 20% 3.0 Wagering, conversion caps and how clearly the terms are shown
BonusBobcat score 100% 3.5 Weighted total of 3.38, rounded to the nearest 0.5

  • Large slots lobby and Evolution live casino when I tested
  • Sportsbook and casino on one account
  • Wide choice of payment methods, including PayPal and Apple Pay
  • Active UKGC licence through ProgressPlay, with GAMSTOP cover

Cons

  • Email-only support, with no live chat or phone
  • 48-hour pending period and a £7,000 monthly withdrawal cap
  • Conversion capped at £50 from the bonus and £20 from spins
  • Operator fined £1m in 2025 after a 2022 settlement
  • Casino.guru Safety Index of 5.9/10 and almost no player reviews

Is Betmaze worth joining? My verdict

Betmaze Casino is a ProgressPlay white label on an active UKGC licence, and I rate it 3.5/5. New players get a 100% match up to £50 plus 20 free spins on Book of Dead with their first deposit, wagered 10x, with up to £50 convertible from the bonus and £20 from the spins. Skrill and Neteller deposits do not qualify.

It suits slots players who want a modest bonus with fair wagering and are happy to deal with support by email. The main caveats are slow withdrawals, with a 48-hour pending period and a £7,000 monthly cap when I tested, very little third-party feedback, and an operator that received a £1,000,000 UKGC penalty in May 2025 on top of a 2022 settlement for similar failings.

Which deposits do not qualify for the Betmaze bonus?

Skrill and Neteller deposits are excluded from the welcome offer. Use a debit card or another method if you want the bonus.
