Betrino Casino is worth it only as a small, simple bonus with fair wagering; its player reviews are poor, so go in with your eyes open. I score it 3.5/5.
The thing to know first: Betrino’s Trustpilot score is one of the lowest I have seen, mostly over held withdrawals and ID checks, while the review sites rate it much more kindly. Betrino used to be called BritainBet and runs on ProgressPlay’s white-label platform, which has two Gambling Commission enforcement actions to its name.

Terms taken from a UK review site because the casino’s own terms page would not load for me; check the cashier before you deposit (source, 26 October 2026).
The casino welcome offer is a 100% match up to £50 plus 20 free spins, both credited when you make a qualifying first deposit. Sources disagree on the minimum deposit, with some saying £10 and others £20, so check the cashier before you pay in. Wagering is 10x on the bonus and 10x on spin winnings, and the most you can withdraw is £50 from the bonus and £20 from the spins, so about £70 at most. You need to deposit £50 to get the full bonus, which means £500 of slots wagering to clear it. Skrill and Neteller deposits don’t qualify, and the casino offer can’t be combined with any sports offer. It suits a slots player depositing around £50 who wants something simple; my wagering guide explains the sums.
Is Betrino safe? Licence and regulatory record
| Domain | betrino.com |
|---|---|
| Operator | ProgressPlay Limited |
| UKGC account | 39335 (public register) |
| Licence status | Active (checked 26 October 2026) |
| Shares a licence with | the ProgressPlay white-label network (Betrino was previously BritainBet) |
| Regulatory action | 9 May 2025: £1,000,000 financial penalty, a formal warning and an extra licence condition requiring an independent audit for anti-money-laundering and customer-interaction (safer gambling) failings (UKGC notice) |
| Regulatory action | 17 May 2022: £175,718 regulatory settlement plus costs for anti-money-laundering and customer-interaction failings (UKGC notice) |
A UKGC licence means Betrino must verify your age and identity, hold player funds under its stated protection level, offer deposit limits and time-outs, and take part in GamStop. If a dispute isn’t resolved by the casino, you can take it to the independent ADR provider named in its terms. More on what the licence covers in What is the UKGC?
What other review sites and players say about Betrino
| Source | Rating | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| AskGamblers | CasinoRank 7.5/10 | No complaints |
| Casino.guru | Safety Index 6.4/10 | The page gives conflicting complaint counts (0 and 1) |
| LCB | No page found | No LCB page for Betrino or BritainBet turned up |
| Casinomeister | No review | No Casinomeister review or rating for this casino (site search, 26 October 2026) |
| Trustpilot | TrustScore 1.6/5 | 58 reviews; held withdrawals and ID checks are the main complaints |
All figures checked on 26 October 2026. Ratings on these sites change; follow the links for the current numbers. Trustpilot and LCB ratings with fewer than 10 reviews or votes, or for a different domain, are shown but not counted in my score.
This is the biggest split between sources in this batch. Trustpilot gives Betrino a TrustScore of 1.6/5 from 58 reviews, and the complaints are consistent: withdrawals held or left pending, heavy ID and source-of-funds requests, accounts restricted with winnings voided, and scripted live chat. A couple of reviewers do mention quick help with a pending withdrawal and a good range of games. Against that, AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 7.5/10 with no complaints, and Casino.guru a Safety Index of 6.4/10, though its page gives conflicting complaint counts (0 and 1). LCB has no page for Betrino or the old BritainBet name that I could find, so there’s no member rating to add. Casinomeister has not reviewed Betrino: its site search on 26 October 2026 returned no review page, so there is no Casinomeister rating or accreditation to report. I’ll add it when I can read it. My reading is that the review sites rate the licence and terms, while Trustpilot reflects what happens at cashout time, and the cashout story is the one I would weigh more.
The licence is held by ProgressPlay Limited (account 39335). The Gambling Commission fined ProgressPlay £1,000,000 in May 2025, with a formal warning and an independent audit, for anti-money-laundering and safer gambling failings, after a £175,718 settlement in May 2022 over similar failings. See my guide to the UKGC for what that means for you.
Betrino sign-up and welcome bonus in testing
I tested Betrino in May 2026, and registration was the fastest I recorded in my 2026 testing: under 90 seconds from the landing page to an account ready for a deposit. The form only asked for email, password, date of birth and country. Address and payment details came at the deposit step.
I deposited £50 by debit card and the £50 bonus landed automatically within seconds, with no code needed. The bonus balance was clearly labelled next to my real-money balance, so I could follow my wagering progress without digging through menus. I cleared the wagering within the 30-day window on eligible slots.
A couple of terms are worth knowing. Wagering comes from your real balance first, and making a withdrawal request cancels any active bonus. Bonus funds expire after 30 days, and the free spins and their winnings after 7 days. Slots count in full towards wagering; live and table games count for less or nothing.
A quick sign-up is pleasant, but bear in mind the checks come later. Given what players report, I would upload your ID soon after registering.
Betrino games, live casino and sportsbook
In my May 2026 test, Betrino’s library was about 600 slots from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO and Microgaming, which was the smallest of the casinos I tested this year. The familiar names are there: Sweet Bonanza, Book of Dead, Starburst, Gates of Olympus and Reactoonz. The design is plain but games loaded quickly and the search worked well.
I didn’t find a live casino section during my May 2026 test. If live tables matter to you, check the current lobby before you sign up, as the site may have changed since.
Betrino is also a sportsbook, with sport and casino under one account. Keep the two sides separate in your head: the casino welcome bonus can’t be combined with a sports offer, and sports bets don’t count towards the casino wagering. Since January 2026, UK rules ban bonuses that require play across different products, so that is how it should be.
Betrino payments and withdrawals
In my May 2026 test I could confirm Visa and Mastercard debit for deposits and withdrawals. Betrino quotes 1 to 3 business days for card withdrawals, and mine took 2 days. I couldn’t confirm PayPal at the time, so if PayPal matters to you, check the cashier before you register.
- Debit cards: bonus eligible, 2-day withdrawal in my test.
- Skrill and Neteller: deposits don’t qualify for the welcome bonus.
- Minimum deposit: sources disagree between £10 and £20, so check the cashier.
My own withdrawal was straightforward. The complaints on Trustpilot are mostly about larger withdrawals being held, and about repeated requests for documents, including source of funds. Neither is unusual for a UK casino, which must run these checks, but the volume of complaints here is high. I would keep your first withdrawal modest, and have your documents ready. My payment methods guide covers what to expect from each option.
Betrino mobile and customer support
On iOS Safari in May 2026, the mobile site was functional. Games loaded correctly, the cashier worked, and the bonus balance was visible on the phone, just as on desktop. There was nothing special about it, but nothing went wrong either, and performance was fine across every game type I tried.
Support is by 24/7 live chat. In my May 2026 test, the reply took 6 minutes, which was one of the longest waits I recorded across the casinos I tested this year. When the answer came it was accurate and complete, so the problem was speed rather than knowledge.
That slow reply lines up with the outside picture. Scripted or unhelpful live chat is one of the recurring complaints from players, although a couple of reviewers say support sorted a pending withdrawal quickly. My advice is the same as for any casino with mixed reviews: keep a record of your chats, and use the deposit limits and other tools in your account to stay within a budget.
How I scored Betrino
| Factor | Weight | Score /5 | How it is worked out |
|---|---|---|---|
| Licence and regulatory record | 30% | 3.0 | 5 for a clean UKGC record, 1 point off per enforcement action in the last five years |
| Third-party ratings | 30% | 2.9 | Average of AskGamblers CasinoRank, Casino.guru Safety Index, Casinomeister rating, LCB member rating and Trustpilot TrustScore, all converted to /5 (LCB and Trustpilot only with 10+ votes on the licensed site) |
| Complaint handling | 20% | 5.0 | 5 with no unresolved complaints on AskGamblers, Casino.guru, LCB or Casinomeister, falling as unresolved complaints rise |
| Bonus fairness | 20% | 3.0 | Wagering, conversion caps and how clearly the terms are shown |
| BonusBobcat score | 100% | 3.5 | Weighted total of 3.35, rounded to the nearest 0.5 |

- Debit card withdrawal in 2 days in my test

- Small bonus: at most £50 from the bonus and £20 from spins

- Minimum deposit unclear (£10 or £20), and Skrill/Neteller excluded
- Small slots library and 6-minute chat reply in my test
Is Betrino worth joining? My verdict
Betrino Casino, formerly BritainBet, is a ProgressPlay casino and sportsbook with a simple 100% up to £50 welcome bonus and 10x wagering, and I score it 3.5/5. It suits a slots player who wants a quick sign-up and a straightforward bonus on a deposit of around £50, and who is happy to verify their ID early. My own card withdrawal took 2 days, and the 20 free spins that come with a qualifying first deposit are a small extra.
The main caveat is reputation. Trustpilot reviews are poor and centre on held withdrawals and document checks, and the operator has two Gambling Commission enforcement actions since 2022. The review sites rate Betrino more kindly, but I would keep deposits small until you have made a withdrawal. Blue Fox runs on the same platform if you want to compare.
